On the development of measures aimed at ensuring fire safety at the Inter-Transproduct LLC facility

Statistical data on fires and their consequences at oil industry facilities are analyzed. The fire hazard of technological processes at the Inter-Transprodukt LLC protection facility is considered, possible causes of equipment damage are identified, characteristic ignition sources are identified, as well as possible ways of spreading fire at the considered protection facility. Calculations of the tank category for explosion and fire hazard and the pumping station room category for explosion and fire hazard have been performed. Based on the work carried out, recommendations have been developed to officials on fire safety measures in the tank farm.
